Small Chip Windshield Repair

We can fix windshields with small chips and cracks. It is a big myth that chips and cracks can't be fixed. In fact, most of the time we find chipped windshields have cracks as well, although sometimes a small crack is not visible to the naked eye. 

Nowadays, windshields are so thin it's very easy for even a small chip to cause a momentary distraction during driving. 

Chips and cracks can be fixed by injecting a clear resin into the glass. Once dry, the resin is as good as new! In some cases we have to replace the windshield but this is less common than just repairing it.

If the crack is smaller then the size of a quarter, we can repair a chipped or cracked windshield. Larger than a quarter, then a windshield replacement is required.

Repairing a chip is quicker and cheaper than replacing a whole windshield. The goal with a cracked or chipped windshield is to stop the crack from spreading as soon as possible before spreading across the windshield.
